Well, as surprising as it will be to my reading audience -- I am moving from Victoria to the love and comfort of Vancouver, British Columbia. I have been accepted at a great company that requires my services and they are going to help me grow and expand beyond my current self and yadda yadda yadda.

If you want, you can look them up on the net at www.cayenta.com. They do all kinds of cool things and I can't explain them all too well yet, so, I think you should go and check them out.

I just got the job this past Friday. So, I haven't been writing here much due to the organization I need to do in order to get myself across the water and into Vancouver. It is quite a change for me and I accept it in full stride. I am looking forward to getting there so that I can apply my knowledge and learn some new stuff. I will definately keep in contact with people in Victoria. There is no doubt about that. I might even write every day here and even more often. I might just have to promote my site even more so that old friends and family can find it. Of course, just look up my name and I will pop up all over the Internet's search engines. It isn't my fault I have had a website since 1995.

There is this girl I know. She is about my height and she shares a love of chocolate that almost matches my own. She is incredible and I don't know how I ever got along without her in my life. Sure, she is silly at times, but she is always real. She is the first person that I have met that will accept no compromises from anything or anyone. She is complete in herself, although she doesn't believe it all the time, and knows where she is going to go in this life. Her name is Allyson. (Her website will be up soon -- once I finish it!) She is really awesome. She is special and I, finally, have some photos of her. We went to one of those self developing booth-type things. How else can I describe it? I don't know! One sees them in the mall everywhere...you know, you sit in them, four flashes go off, instant pictures waiting for you...man, I must be tired. I am not making much sense.

buy the book, blog your world, feel like a million bucks

Just in case you didn't know, I co-wrote Blogging For Dummies! Before you send me any congratulations, questions, flowers, or blow me any number of kisses  - why don't you go buy ten copies and make me rich and famous.

Or you could just buy a copy since it is a really good book and it has loads of great information for those of you out there who want to jump into blogging because it is fun and exciting.

podcasting

What else do I do? I talk out loud, record it, and post it on line. I chatter about all kinds of things. Some of the things are nerdy, some professional, and some of them are very much NSFW. Why? Because do them for myself and my non-work life. You can be the judge.
