Philip Stephen at Libby's Kitchen During July

Philip Stephen rules. We drink beer, he paints, I get impressed, and then I fall down like a silly fool. So, when I get e-mails from him announcing his shows, I love to pass it along. Here is the latest from Philip:

I am having a show or new work titled "Flights of Fancy" for the month of July at Libby's Kitchen, 3429 Porter Street, in Vancouver.

Please Join me for Opening Night on Thursday, July 3rd, anytime between 5-8pm. There will a raffle for a number of art pieces as well as some platters and wine and the kitchen will be open if you would like to order some dinner and hang out and chat while you are there.

If you miss opening night, the show will be up all month.

Please forward this message to your friends and family who enjoy fine and fun art.

Did I mention that some of his work hangs in the Left Right Minds office? It does and we love it! We don't hang just any art. We hit up the quality people.

Just in case you didn't know, I co-wrote Blogging For Dummies! Before you send me any congratulations, questions, flowers, or blow me any number of kisses  - why don't you go buy ten copies and make me rich and famous.

Or you could just buy a copy since it is a really good book and it has loads of great information for those of you out there who want to jump into blogging because it is fun and exciting.

podcasting

What else do I do? I talk out loud, record it, and post it on line. I chatter about all kinds of things. Some of the things are nerdy, some professional, and some of them are very much NSFW. Why? Because do them for myself and my non-work life. You can be the judge.
