Serendipity The Pug: Operation Good Health Vibes
I apologize for not being around these past couple of weeks but we've had a family crisis - our Pug is terribly sick!

A couple of weeks ago she started dragging her feet and cutting the tops of her toes. It was very strange but went away after 24 hours. So, we patched her up and she seemed fine. We called the vet and they scheduled an appointment for the following week. Another few days went by and, one morning, we realized she was losing control of her back legs. We rushed to the vet and another appointment was made with a neuro-specialist (brain doctor). This morning we've learned she has some problem in her neck that is causing her brain and spinal cord to not communicate very well. It might be something genetic, or a birth defect, or some unknown disease. We just don't know at this point.
This has been horribly stressful as she is only six months old and it is incredibly painful to watch our puppy go through this. Here is your assignment: I need prayers, good wishes, and healthy vibes aimed at our puppy. She is sweet, loving, and creates fans no matter where she goes. So, please, help us by sending some good will her way. No puppy should go through this kind of thing and she is now sad and unhappy.
UPDATE:
It is not looking very good. After a couple more visits, it has been determined our puppy may have one of three different problems - each requiring surgery. Serendipity has an MRI on Monday to determine the next course of action. Each of these potential conditions are very heart breaking and recovery may be a long hard road. We are not sure if we want to put our Serendipity through this.
More good wishes are welcome.
